FCA Hockey Elite Goalie Camp
FCA Hockey is partnering with longtime Canadian friend Jack O'Halloran and his goalie school H2H Goaltending to host this years "Elite Goalie Camp". The camp will run in conjunction with our Advanced hockey skills training camp in Alexandria, MN. Below is a list of our current staff members for this years camp.
Jack is from British Columbia, Canada. He’s the Owner and operator of Head2Head Goaltending in Vancouver. Jack brings a wealth of knowledge, working with the best in the game. He brings a lot of experience and has worked with FCA Hockey since 2009 as our main goalie coach.
Ryan is from Ottawa, Ontario. He works full time with FCA Canada alongside playing professional hockey. A four year NCAA starter at Castleton University, Ryan brings over 20 years of playing and coaching experience.
Ian is from Parma, OH and has played over 9 years of professional hockey at the ECHL and AHL level. He attended Ohio State University on a hockey scholarship and currently works as a goalie coach in Tulsa, OK.
Matt is from El Segundo, CA and is the current development goalie coach for the Los Angeles Kings. He played college hockey at Bethel University and brings over 13 years of experience at the professional, collegiate and USHL level.
Pete is from Toronto, Ontario and is the Author of “The Goalie Mindset Guy”. He played in the WHL and is one of the top mental coaches for elite goaltenders. His clientele includes NHL, NCAA, and CHL goalies.
Russell is from Mill Bay, British Columbia and is the current goalie coach for the Notre Dame Hounds. He previously played 5 years with the Hounds, winning SJHL Goalie of the Year in 2011. He then went on to play CIS hockey at the University of Ottawa.
- Stacy Brown – Yoga Instructor
This camp is intended to help Elite 15-21 year old goalies prepare mentally, physically and spiritually for juniors, college and pro level play. Each staff member is hand selected for not only their hockey skill, experience and knowledge, but also for their character. The camp will be small 16-20 goalies, in order to facilitate better training and personal coaching. Our goal is to help each goalie reach his full potential while giving him the foundation needed to play at the highest levels.

3. Have played at the AAA, Varsity, Junior and collegiate level
- Elite Camp means that each goalie selected will need to apply and meet the age, skill level, and required experience to attend the camp.
- Those attending the goalie camp can expect the following:
- 60 min am ice - technique/pre game warm-up/mental prep
- 90 min pm ice for shots and situation game play
- 60 min classroom - "Mind" the net
- 60 min off ice - Dryland/ work-out
- Coaches Corner - skate sharpening/equipment customization/making a scouting video/ what scouts look for
- Small group huddles, devotions and personal time to grow players faith in the Lord

Goalies not selected are encouraged to attend the skills camp. They will receive individual goalie specific coaching from a goalie coach and they will be worked very hard on and off the ice - physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Arrive MSP -Tues, June 11, by 12:00 to be able to get bags and meet bus. (If not feasible - plan to use the shuttle service below)
Depart MSP - Sat, June 15, no earlier than 8:00 pm. Bus leaves at 3:30 pm
If you are flying your son in. Alexandria is 2 hrs and 45 min from MSP. We will have a pick-up 12:30 and 1:00 at MSP (There are two terminals so be patient) If it's not possible for you to get a flight into MSP for that pick-up, there is a very nice shuttle service that will transport him/them from MSP to the Perkins Restaurant HWY 29 S in Alexandria. I will have a van running back and forth to pick-them up at Perkins.
