FCA Chowder Cups Teams Are Back

Summer 2024

We are thrilled to announce that the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Hockey will once again be participating in the prestigious Chowder Cup in Boston, Massachusetts. Recognized as one of the most premier and well-attended summer tournaments in North America, the Chowder Cup promises excellent competition for all participants.

For the upcoming summer of 2024, FCA Hockey is gearing up to field several teams across different Chowder Cup tournaments scheduled throughout June and July. Team placements will be organized based on birth year as detailed below.

2024 Chowder Cup Opportunities

• Mini Chowder Cup Price: $550 (2010-11 birth years) – July 9 – 14
• Junior Chowder Cup Price: $550 (2008-2009 birth years) – July 23-28
• Senior Chowder Cup Price: $645 (2004 – 2007 birth years) – July 16-21

Participating in the Chowder Cup holds special significance for FCA Hockey for several reasons. Firstly, it presents a unique outreach opportunity for our ministry, allowing us to engage with the hockey community in an elite summer tournament. Secondly, it provides a platform for young Christian hockey players to build fellowship with like-minded believers, sharing their love for the game and their faith. Ultimately, our main goal is to continue discipling these players through God’s word and truth.

Each year, leading up to the tournament, our teams convene in Providence, RI, for a mini training camp. In previous years, this time has been dedicated to team bonding, hosting Bible studies, exploring local college campuses, and enjoying a big team meal on the beach.

If your son plays on one of our FCA AAA teams, kindly make a note of it in the application form.

Cost Information:

The cost of participation is shown above and includes the tournament fee, practice ice, FCA shirt, book/Bible, and team reception.

However, airfare, rental car, food, and lodging are not covered. Recognizing the financial commitment, especially for those flying in, we assure you that, as a ministry, we will strive to make this experience as memorable as possible.
