Team: Rapid City Rush
Hometown: Gilbert, Arizona
Birth Year: 1991
Height: 5' 10
Weight: 170 lbs.
Chosen Attribute: Serving
Why is this important to you?
Serving would have to be the one of the most important attributes for both on and off the ice. On the ice when we look at it as a platform to serve and glorify Christ it makes hockey have a greater purpose.
And off the ice we are told faith without works is dead. And when we are serving on and off ice our teammates and others will see Christ in us.
Have you been involved with FCA or FCA Hockey in the past? What has been your experience with us? How has FCA Hockey impacted you?
I have been apart of the discipleship calls for about three years now. My experience has been nothing short of perfect. To be able to fellowship with other Christian hockey players is such a blessing, and to be able to talk about our walks and share wisdom.
I’m constantly being sharpened every time I join the calls. It has impacted me in my walk and helping me bring Christ where I play.
What is your favorite scripture verse? Why is this important to you?
Psalms 91 and Isaiah 6:8. Psalms 91 just ties in so much; we can have rest in Christ, peace, and strength, and because He loves me it says He will rescue me.
We are saved! And Isaiah 6:8 just always inspires me to have a courageous faith and want to serve with a courageous heart.
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am!” Send me!”
How did you hear about FCA Hockey?
Through a teammate I played with years ago.
What else should we know about you?
I want to glorify God at the highest level I can.
I have two brothers and two sisters. Loving grandparents, an aunt, and uncles. Biggest blessing by far is my family. Back home I go to Sun Valley Church.
Outside of hockey, I love to surf, be with my family, read, and travel with family and friends.
